4. MG Hector Plus
MG Hector Plus made its Indian debut at Auto Expo 2020, and is expected to finally reach the markets this year. The Hector Plus was initially scheduled to enter the markets a few months ago, effectively a three-row Hector but COVID-19 outbreak caused a delay.
It will be sold as a regular six-seater SUV but buyers will have the option of a seven-seater model as well. The forthcoming MG Hector Plus will feature the same silhouette as its five-seater twin, but it will get some slight cosmetic changes that will help to differentiate between the two vehicles. However, the interior layout and feature list will most likely be the same on both the SUVs.
MG Motor India will sell Hector Plus a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine with the same engine options as its five-seater sibling. The petrol engine will pump 141 bhp at 250 Nm and will be provided with a option between a manual six-speed gearbox and automatic seven-speed DCT transmission.
At the other hand, MG Hector Plus diesel will have 168 bhp and 350 Nm at board, and will only be available with manual transmission.
